Hi Webflow Community,
I’m currently experiencing a recurring issue in Webflow where CMS items are not displaying in the editor mode, despite being properly set up and published. This issue is present across multiple projects and accounts, which makes me believe it’s a Webflow-related bug rather than a project-specific configuration error.
This issue also appeared shortly after the last webflow update which brought a lot of changes with it, what makes me believe even more that this issue is related to Webflow itself.
Is anyone else out there having the same problem?
Problem Description:
-
What Happens: In the editor mode, CMS items within Collection Lists show a message stating “This collection does not contain any items,” even though the collections are populated and working perfectly on the live site.
-
What I’ve Tried:
- Ensured there are no active filters or settings preventing visibility.
- Switched between the “Empty State” and “Collection Items” elements, but the issue persists.
- Checked pagination settings.
- Cleared browser cache and tried different browsers (same result).
- Tested on multiple accounts/projects, confirming it’s not an isolated issue.
Webflow Support Response:
I reached out to Webflow Support, and they initially suggested that the issue might be due to the “Empty State” being selected. However, I’ve clarified that this isn’t the case and provided a video recording demonstrating the problem.
Why This Is Critical:
This issue significantly disrupts my workflow, making it difficult to edit or update CMS-based content efficiently. It also appears to be a broader bug affecting multiple accounts, which might impact other users as well.
Request:
I’d appreciate insights from the community or confirmation from Webflow if this is a known issue. If anyone has encountered this before and found a resolution, your guidance would be invaluable!
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Michael
