Cart visibility on desktop vs mobile – cart as part of the nav menu

Hi everyone. Thanks for looking at this topic!

I have my cart in the main nav menu.
The cart is visible in the navbar by default on desktop and mobile.
But on mobile I’d like to hide the cart and have it only appear as part of the dropdown list when clicking on the Menu Button (hamburger). With other words I want the cart to be responsive and behave in mobile like all the other menu items.
Instead the cart behaves in mobile like the “Brand” and shows up in the top nav menu next to the hamburger.

I tried to add the cart to the same nav menu wrapper as the other Nav Links, but it won’t let me do that. I then tried to add an extra div and then add the menu items plus the cart to that div – no change.

Is there a simple way to achieve this within the Webflow designer?
If there’s no way around custom code please explain how I do that (I’m still a novice in Webflow and even though I know some CSS and HTMLX basics I’m not a programmer).

I appreciate it your advice!

I guess my description of the issue wasn’t clear?
I can’t be the only one running into this issue.

Let me try to simplify it:
Desktop: cart appears in the nav-bar, as part of the menu.
Mobile: menu is replaced by hamburger (dropdown on click), cart is next to hamburger in the nav-bar.
What I try is, in mobile: I’d like for the cart to not appear next to the hamburger in the nav-bar but as part of the dropdown menu (on click, just like the other menu items).

I’m attaching screenshots.

Thank you for your help!
