I have an issue with my CMS on a client’s site. I can’t connect the rich text element to the rich text in my CMS collection, on the page “blog posts template”. I only get the following options from my CMS collection (image).
Has anybody experienced this issue before and knows how to fix it?

Make sure you have rich text field in CMS, theres a button “edit rich text” on the image you’ve sent, next to the button is a purple circle with white dot, click it, the rich text from CMS should be listed there, click it and the connection will be set up.

I have the same problem and can not see any button to link my rich text element to my CMS collection. Do you have any idea how to fix this? Am I also blind? Thanks a lot
Interesting, I would have expected to see the binding option anyway, but it seems Webflow’s hiding it because there are no rich text fields to bind to. Try adding one and see if it appears.

I’m having a similar issue. Trying to connect a project description, its added in the custom fields in the collection settings. But when I click to connect, the project description data doesn’t show up in the list of data available to connect? Thank you 
Make sure that the field you are using on your content page is a rich-text field. Now, you can connect it to a rich-text field from your CMS.
In short, you can only connect similar field types with each other.
How do you set a paragraph box to be a rich text box if it’s not currently a rich text box?

I am having the exact same issue, I was wondering if you figured out the solution already.
You don’t, you replace it. Create a rich text block next to the text element, add the classes, style it how you want, bind it to the CMS field.
Make sure the element and the field types match. Rich text elements bind to rich text CMS fields only, and plain text elements to plain text fields.
The binding is established on the element’s settings panel, by clicking the little purple dot.
Thank you for responding. I can not connect the Rich Text to the CMS. I used Webflows automatic CMS builder to have it as a template so I can add my projects later. I am attaching the screenshots maybe someone can help me with it.
You don’t have any CMS fields in your collection to connect to.
