Can I cross reference names in Airtable from Webflow form?

I would like to have a text field that a user inputs their name and is referenced from a list if so then a pop up shows a form.
If this can be done natively in Webflow all the better.
I was thinking the CMS but that doesn’t seem like the best option for just a list of names that are referenced as a boolean.

The names will be in Airtable already.

Here’s what I want to do we are aMakerspace and would like to make a reservation form to allow makers to reserve time slots for machines but they need clearance and is where the list comes in form Airtable. All the forms and clearance docs are generated from Airtable.
I would like a text filed on a Webflow page where the users inputs their name and if on the list they are presented with a form and if not the are shown steps to get clearance.

Complex, but possible.
The easiest ways are either-

Use powerimporter pro to sync data from Airtable to Webflow, and then write the custom code you need in Webflow to utilize that data.

Or, build an API endpoint that queries Airtable and returns “yes” if it finds the match you’re looking for. Serverless functions are good for this, e.g. Netlify, or you could even use a Make.com scenario for this, though it will likely be somewhat slower.

Name is probably not distinct enough, I’d use email or a normalized phone number as the lookup key.
