Blank screen for seconds before page appears

Hey everyone,

I’m in the process of developing a client site and have run into an issue I haven’t seen before.

On the two pages I have built, when loading the pages once published they take ages to load with it only displaying a white screen, then everything appears at once seconds later. Not sure where to start with this.

I don’t have google optimize on the site which seems to be a common occurrence for this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It would be helpful if you could share a published URL to the page, so inspection in a browser is possible. If you do, tag me and I will take a look.

The Solution was the client had added google optimize without me being aware of it.

Getting rid of that solved the issue.
