Add products to the cart without completing the checkout process with a payment

Hello Webflow community,

Before starting a project with a client, I would like to ensure that, once the e-commerce module is activated, it is possible to add products to the cart without completing the checkout process with a payment, but rather by sending a summary of the cart to a sales team who will then contact the requester.

Indeed, my client sells expensive items that cannot be sold online.

Josh with Foxy here. I think the only way to do this with Webflow Ecommerce is to set the pricing to $0 for all products. But even then a payment method may still be required at checkout.

That said, what you’re after is possible with our seamless Webflow integration: https://foxy.io/webflow Our Purchase Order option allows customers to checkout without payment.

This can be customized to be used as quotes, pay by check, cash etc. Use Webflow CMS to manage products. Customers add products to cart, proceed to checkout, complete order (without payment), info is emailed to store admins and the customer.
