Why is "Webflow" Showing Instead of My Website Name in Google Search Results?

Hi everyone,

I updated all the name and SEO settings for my site in Webflow, but Google still shows “Webflow” instead of my website name or domain.

Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it?

When did you make the update? Google takes some time to recrawl and update this, can take weeks.

Updated over a month ago, I thought it will update eventually but it’s not updating

The Site Name you see above your search result listing is not related to your project name in Webflow, which is internal-only.

Google can be difficult with these but basically it’s making a best guess based on things like server IP’s. Here’s a way to help Google identify the right company name to display;
