Webflow vs Wordpress SEO

Hi Webflow community, I recently built a webflow website for a client who is concerned that Webflow website might not do well in terms of SEO and is considering replicating the whole site in Wordpress. They want to have two live versions of website, one with .ch as TLD and another with .ai. I don’t know much about SEO so I’ve the following questions:

  1. Would having two duplicate sites published at the same time create any problems in terms of search engine rankings?
  2. Is there any limitation to Webflow in terms of SEO optimisation in comparison to Wordpress?

Hey, I’ve been in a similar situation before. Having two duplicate sites with the same content could indeed cause some issues with search engine rankings, as it might be seen as a spammy tactic. Google tends to favor unique content and may penalize you for duplicate versions of the same site.

That being said, Webflow is not inherently limited in terms of SEO optimization compared to WordPress. You can achieve good SEO with Webflow if you follow best practices like optimizing meta tags, using descriptive alt text for images, and creating high-quality, unique content.
