I’ve been using Webflow for almost 7 years now.
The pattern is that subsystems are built to a point of minimum viability and then often the projects are considered done and the teams are reallocated.
ECommerce, User Accounts, and Logic all follow that paradigm, where they are minimally functional but all investment has stopped and as a result they support an extremely limited range of use cases.
Most people try to start with them, and they their builds hit a brick wall and they have to switch to other systems. Foxy, Memberstack, and Make are all solid because they have dedicated teams committed to making those products grow.
The CMS is somewhat of an exception because it’s close to the core of Webflow’s viability as a platform, but even there people struggle with the limitations daily.
I’m hopeful about localization, but… only time will tell. The fact that there are zero Enterprise clients here going “hey this is fantastic!” is slightly concerning.
