you will be doing the following :
- Closely monitoring and reporting on search performance across our brands with recommendations on how to respond
- Researching content opportunities using a range of search tools including Ahrefs, SEMrush and Google Trends
- Advising writers on how to optimise and refresh existing content
- Monitoring competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats to our brands
- Support our commerce team with SEO tasks around key commerce events including Black Friday
- Auditing the link profiles of sites to disavow any potential harmful incoming links
- Developing and implementing an internal linking strategy given special attention to site structure and hierarchy
- Performing content audits and providing recommendations on possible improvements
- Staying up to date on SEO best practice and training editorial teams
- Keeping a close eye on industry developments in search and digital technology in general
- A BIT ABOUT YOU:
- A natural curiosity and enthusiasm for SEO practices, particularly in relation to media businesses
- A track record of success in delivering traffic growth through SEO
- Exceptional organisation: able to maintain a holistic view of search performance across the whole portfolio of Immediate brands and prioritise
- Experience using a wide variety of SEO and audience analytics tools
