Video not autoplaying on first load

Heya,
I’m having issues with getting a video to autoplay.
On the site’s first load the video doesn’t play, however if you resize the browser window (happens in Chrome and Safari) it triggers the video to play.

I’ve added playsinline to the custom div attribute, as suggested in another forum post, but that didn’t fix it.

The video has no audio and I’ve reduced the file size as much as I could, but it still clocks in at 9.5mb. Is the size the issue?

Am I missing something?

I think I may have solved this myself.
I went ahead and published the site to the webflow.io domains and magically the video autoplays on both Chrome and Safari.
