Urgent: Fit Cover doesn't apply to slider image

I have a slider image that I’ve given a fixed with of 100% and fixed height of 360px. I’ve also set it to have a fit setting of cover.

The problem is the cover setting doesn’t apply to my slider images and solutions I’ve seen online require me to have a paid account to use HTML embed which I don’t

As far as I can see the cover setting doesn’t apply because the content is not disturbed - the slider wrapper just shrinks.

I think what you see maybe different now from when I first posted. The images have auto width now so they look good. I gave them a fixed width before and they would stretch instead of cover
