Underline link styling by default... Can't get rid of it

Hello everyone,

I recently joined the Webflow community and I’m currently testing Webflow (no paid plan yet).

As a test project, I’m building my portfolio and I need to use links. The problem is: I can’t remove the underline styling, even after trying multiple solutions I found online (including here), so I’m wondering if I’m missing something.

Here’s what I tried so far:

  • Disabled text-decoration: underline on the Link element

  • Disabled text-decoration: underline on the Paragraph element

  • Added custom CSS with text-decoration: none

  • Even added !important to force it

But the underline still shows up. Any idea what could be causing this, or what I should check next?

@Olivier_VT, Please review the screenshot from the preview link I shared. Everything looks good on my end.

Okay… the issue is coming from Firefox (using Brave as search engine).

I just tried in Chrome and as you mention @ahmed_moeed there is no underline…

I just checked on firefox it is working fine too.

I found the solution… In the settings of Firefox, you can ask the browser to underline by default the links…

Firefox settings > Navigation > Always underline links (Yes/No) – if someone reads the forum in the future
