Trouble shooting Google PageSpeed Insights

Hi community!

I inherited a client site and I’ve been working on improving it (there’s loads to do on the UX side which I am working on) and they have asked me to optimise the SEO and website load.

In a speed report it references a lot of unused Javascript, what is the best way for me to debug this as I am a designer first and a coder only kinda?
