Trigger interaction with URL?

I have a site with a loooong main page, in which a Case CMS collection is implemented further down the page. When the user clicks one of the Cases, they get sent to the Cases Collection page, showing the specific Case. When the user goes back to the main page using the back-button, I need an interaction to be in the same state as the last time, the user was on the main page (the nav hidden). Is this possible using some sort of page event, that is only triggered when the user comes from the Collection page, or in some other way?

I can’t get my head around it.
