Tracking YouTube video views

I am trying to track YouTube video views with Google Tag Manager’s YouTube video trigger and I have a question. I am using the Webflow YouTube module, and I have the YouTube API library script on the page with “Add Javascript API support to all Youtube videos” enabled in the trigger. The video still will not track. Opening the window triggers a gtm.linkClick event and a form submit event instead of a gtm.video event in the data layer. Any idea how to fix this?

@mick.wieland Youtube trigger isn't working in Google Tag Manager? 9 ways to fix it

My solution was number 9. My video link was changing after the listener loads.
