This is disabled because the element is already linked to a collection field

I have a CMS collection created for “Supports” each have their own current page.
I now want to create a dynamic dropdown nav that pulls in their current page links and names, however when I try do this IO get the error “This is disabled because the element is already linked to a collection field”. I’ve done this before in the past and am wondering am I doing something wrong or is there any workaround for this?

Hey,

I’m not sure if I understand your problem correctly, but it seems to me like you’ve already linked the nav-links to the collection in the side menu?

They are in black color though, but changed to white it looks like this:

Thanks Robin, the error was definitely throwing me and the fact they were black and not visible. Seems to be okay now.

Were you able to figure out what caused this?

I’m getting the same error although these links are not actually connected to a collection.
