Template pages - can't find them but they appear in a site map search

I just ran a site: test to see what pages my site has and I found 8 pages that still exist from the template I used. They are all in a blog section but I can’t find them on my dashboard.

Here is my read only site
https://preview.webflow.com/preview/bettinas-booze-your-words?utm_medium=preview_link&utm_source=designer&utm_content=bettinas-booze-your-words&preview=8674d8b54727cd154f02f234cc88cc57&workflow=preview

And for the pages I found on the site: test here is one of them
https://www.boozeyourwords.com/post/is-it-frosting-or-is-it-icing
The rest are all like this - recipe posts.

When I follow the link the page doesn’t exist. I just want to delete them all together though so I don’t have errors showing.

Thanks anyone who can help me.

Hi @Bettina_Ferrando1,

Welcome to the forum! You can try resubmitting your sitemap to Google.

You can read more about this here: https://university.webflow.com/lesson/sitemap#submitting-your-sitemap-to-google

Keep in mind, it can take some time for Google to crawl and update the search results!

@Bettina_Ferrando1 looks like you’ve found the rogue content- I’m seeing a 404 page on your site for that URL. Usually in a situation like that, where you’re cleaning up a template, there are three things to do;

  • Look for folders, and check inside them. templates often have things hidden there.
  • Make sure you deleted any “demo” collection items you don’t want.
  • Republish the full site.
  • If you’re still seeing pages that shouldn’t be there, you may just be seeing your browser cache. Do a forced refresh to load that page without using cached objects- e.g. CTRL+F5 in Chrome.
