On June 15, 2022, Microsoft officially ended support for Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) and won’t receive any further security or functionality updates from Microsoft. Therefore, Webflow will no longer be testing new features for IE11 compatibility.
While publishing on Webflow will continue to support all industry standard features supported in modern web browsers, we cannot guarantee that new features will be rendered correctly for site visitors on IE11 moving forward.
If you are currently working with clients who use Microsoft IE11, this is a good opportunity to educate them on the benefits of migrating to a new browser and what new features are now available to them:
List of features that were not available on IE11, but are available on alternate browsers:
- Interactions
- CSS 3D Transforms
- CSS transitions
- CSS flexbox
- CSS grid
- CSS filters
