Struggling to make custom code from cloneable project

I wanted to clone a countdown timer and image gallery slider to my project but I am struggling. Hope someone can help. I cloned and copied the elements needed and added the custom code into ‘inside body’ section in project settings. I simply don’t see any animations or interactions! I tried publishing but still did’nt work. I feel like I am missing something basic. Please can someone help? Thanks in advance!
