"Sort by" in CMS Collections doesn't remember your sorting

The little pin in the top right on your CMS item list lets you sort stuff by Collection Fields in that particular collection. However, reload the site and it doesn’t remember the fields you want to display, or even if you’re sorting by anything other than creation date. Everything resets, every time.
