Pinned columns in the CMS Collection view don't stay pinned

Not sure how much more detail to add. Just found the pin icon, client complains that things are a mess and hard to find. So, got rid of the Created column, added our Title and Date column, with things sorted in reverse by our Date. Ta da! Except, next time I logged in, it was back to the default. Nothing was actually “pinned.”
