Site search among whole website

Hey guys,
I want to create a site search among the whole webflow site (not only CMS, but static pages as well) and the problem comes on the search page when Webflow pulls links not from the main domain (Which is Synder.com), but it’s own production (Test search page)

Is there is a way to fix that? Please help, coudn’t find any relevant info online. Or there are free and nice alternatives?

Webflow site search is designed to search its own site, so you’d want to look into 3rd party solutions.

Quick Fixes for the Webflow Search Issue

Unfortunately, this is a limitation of Webflow’s current site search implementation. Here are a few things you can try:

  1. Check your domain settings: Make sure your custom domain is set as the default in Site Settings > Publishing > Production
  2. Disable webflow.io indexing: Go to Site Settings > SEO and ensure “Disable Webflow subdomain indexing” is turned ON Webflow Help CenterWebflow Help Center to prevent the staging domain from being indexed
  3. Republish your site: After making domain setting changes, republish to ensure all pages reference the correct domain

However, these steps may not completely resolve the search results issue, as it appears to be an inherent limitation of Webflow’s search functionality.
