Site nav links have vanished

Hi everyone. Something very weird today. The client wrote to me saying all the menu items had vanished from their website, it was a bit weird. I can’t do anything in the designer to bring them back, weird. What is really weird is that I can go back through months of backups and the menu items aren’t in any backups either, they have retrospectively vanished there too.

So a quick sanity check. Neither I nor the client with access has been in and changed anything to hide the nav links, nor do I and they have a time machine (that they admit to) to have gone into the past and remove things from the backups.

Is it weird? Or is it something dumb I did? Thank you for reading and in advance for any help!

hi @Max_Wilson it is not a bug but you or your client changed Navbar setting to desktop instead tablet once you switch it all should work as expected.

Thanks Stan! I don’t know if I would have ever looked there… it does seem counterintuitive that the menu for the desktop base breakpoint needs to be set to “tablet and below”, so I can’t understand why the solution worked but I’m very grateful for the help. Thanks again.
