My question relates to site page structure.
I have a cms collection page e.g. url/networks/london
cms collection page template is ‘networks’
cms generated collection page is ‘london’
but i need to locate a child page of the collection page ‘london’ so it is e.g:
url/networks/london/child-page
Is this possible? as i can’t create folders ‘networks’ > “london” as this already exists as a url location built by the CMS collections. I think.
Any help much appreciated
I’m not sure this is possible - but let me ask - would there be one child-page per collection item? Or do you literally want just one for London?
no there would be 1 child or 2 child pages per collect page
e.g.
url/networks/london/childpage1
url/networks/london/childpage1
url/networks/newyork/childpage1
url/networks/newyork/childpage2
etc
I can confirm that this doesn’t seem possible. Would a redirect work? I was able to build one on a test site - unfortunately it’s a 301 redirect and you’ll see the new URL.

Not natively. The way I do it is by using a reverse proxy to split the collection page.
The collection page contains the content for all 1 - 3 pages, and then when the RP gets a request like;
.../collection-slug/item-slug/subpage1
It extracts and delivers the subpage1 content from that item page.
There are a bunch of small additional things that are needed, like canonicals and sitemap work if you want those to align for SEO.
This particular approach also happens to work well with Localization, even when you have localized slugs.
