SEO Confirmation: Will removing .webflow.io from Google's index affect the custom domain?

For my custom domains, I usually disable the .webflow.io subdomain indexing:

On a recent site, before the subdomain indexing was disabled and published, Google caught on to the .webflow.io version of the site, and now it displaying it along with the custom domain in Google searches.

I’d like to confirm: in Webmaster Tools, if I remove the .weflow.io site from Google’s index, will the www.mydomain.com (custom domain hosted through Webflow) search results be affected in any way? :+1:

No, your domain will not be negatively affected. In fact, this option is there so that Google won’t find a duplicate site/content, and penalise both sites.
