Rich Text Formatting error

I’m having trouble copy/pasting Google Docs articles into my Webflow CMS (rich text) and keeping the H1/H2/links/images structured.

In over 2 years - I have not had this issue, and I haven’t changed anything to my process of uploading blogposts or in my CMS collection.

But as of this morning - I could no longer upload blogposts into Webflow from external documents while maintaining the same format.

Is anybody else experiencing this?

Webflow added Markdown support a few days ago, which is pretty useful - and it recognizes basic markdown in pasted content as well.

Here’s the thing- it’s strongly “modal” in its detection and processing.
If it determines there is markdown content in your pasted text, it will process the whole thing as markdown.
