Responsive Navbar

Hello, I am just beginning to learn Webflow and have been practicing on a blank templete while I learn design functions. I noticed that my navbar is responsive down, but HOME, ABOUT and CONTACT all disappear. I deleted everything and started over with only navbar in body without making any setting changes and it is still doing the same. What did I do wrong or missing? Thanks

Welcome to the community @David_Jones1!

By default, the Webflow Navbar element shows all of the included links on Desktop but automatically hides them behind a hamburger menu on Tablet and below. You can change this behavior, change animation settings, or manually open/close the hamburger menu for easier editing by heading to the Settings panel after clicking on your Navbar element:

You can learn more about how the Navbar works by checking out the University tutorial on the element itself at the link below—but feel free to reach out if you have any other questions and I’d be happy to help out :+1:

Thanks @mikeyevin, however that is not problem. The hamburg menu is also gone. The brand icon area is only thing that shows up when it scales down to smaller device. It is like I toggled something off before I even started, but don’t know what.

Hmm, can you please include your read-only link so I can take a look?

@mikeyevin, I just deleted project and reload blank templete and added navbar and problem fixed. I figure I may have somehow set body to where everything in right magin overflowed off of page. Thanks for your help.

This is what I thought may be the case, if you happened to give the navbar element a width that was wider than your canvas then the menu button would have been shown off-screen.

Either way, glad you got it sorted out :+1:
