They are using position absolute (see screenshot). I’m sure Webflow University has some good tutorials on this.

No problem - position: absolute can be tricky if you are using it for the first time but this kind of layout should be a pretty gentle introduction. Watch a couple videos and read the documentation and you’ll get the hang of it in no time.
