Removing unwanted section IDs

This is my first web development project and I’m working through it with a lot of trial and error. As a part of that process, I’ve created a bunch of section IDs I no longer want. Actually, a few of them were accidentally created with the exact same name, “totes”, which is making things especially confusing.

I’ve tried deleting them by selecting the component the ID is attributed to and clicking into the ID field and deleting the content, but when I click out of that editor and back in the ID comes back. Is there any way to delete them permanently?

I’ve included my link below but the page in question is the “Shop” page that includes all of the products across various categories. The homepage is a complete mess, but that’s an issue for another day.

Why don’t you go into the designer and change them and push your changes live. it might be because you haven’t published and or are in the editor.

Thanks for the idea! Unfortunately, that didn’t work. :frowning:

Being unable to delete id’s is a known problem which, it seems, is still not fixed. Your only solution I guess is to delete the section and add another with the same class.
