I’m having issues with removing this “expanding” dropdown animation on our mega menu on refined.com. Instead of it expanding downwards from the top, I want it to just switch between the different menu items without any dropdown animation (example: Smarter spending for your business - Pleo). I’ve been trying a few things back and forth, but can’t really figure it out.
You will want to change the “size” portion of the menu-open to a hide/show + opacity transition. For the menu-close portion of the interaction you will want to do the same thing but also add a delay. The slight delay on the close will give you that appearance of a continuous white background.
