Real Estate multisite

Hi guys! I have a few questions that I need to clarify before I’ll start using Webflow for my project.

  1. Has anyone any experience building real estate websites using Webflow and its CMS system? Is it efficient? With filtering and a panel for user to add items to it.
  2. Is there a way to have a core skeleton of functionalities and layouts that other projects in Webflow can inherit from? To keep updated in one place? Like using Github?
  3. Is there a way to integrate jquery plugins like for example jQuery Interactive Vector Map Plugin - Mapael | Free jQuery Plugins inside Webflow? Can I install those plugins on hosting?

I’m thinking about using Webflow for some projects but those are my concerns so far.

Hi,

Welcome to Webflow.

  1. I think people have used Webflow foe real estate websites. The only issue I could see with this is the ability to search for properties using ZIP codes/ bedroom number/price etc. Webflow does not allow inter CMS search. But you could use filtering and panel as you said. I have used this in the past and it works great.

  2. No you can’t use one project as a core for others. You can have symbols in one site, which you can easily add in to anywhere in that site. Changing any instance of the symbol will change all the others on your site. You can also copy and paste from one project to another.

  3. You can use JQuery plugins on Webflow, provided you have the coding knowledge to be able to implement them correctly. This tutorial is helpful.

Webflow is an absolutely fantastic tool. So easy to use, intuitive and very powerful when you’ve learnt the basics. It might be worth checking out the limitations list before you start though.

Oh this is really helpful, didn’t know real estate websites could be developed using webflow.
