Hi folks, I’m trying to set up Quick Stack to go from desktop / horizontal to mobile portrait / vertical but I can’t work out how to do so & it remains horizontal. I’ve watched the tutorials on this but I don’t have access to the area he refers to. Any help appreciated!
I’m a newbie to Webflow who thought this thread finally provided the answer to my woes of trying to get the mobile portrait version of my company’s new website to behave. However, when I began building a Quick Stack to replace the Applications container, I found it did two things.
1) Overlapped almost everything behind the Products section/container below with no adjustment on any container improving the situation.
2) Upon feeling I was on at least on the right track despite the issue above and moving back to the mobile portrait mode to see how I had titled the two links, I found that adding the Quick Stack caused an absolute train wreck in that view; surprising to me as I thought changes in Webflow only ran “downhill” by view.
I have put everything back to where I started so my boss won’t panic and I won’t lose my place and destroy the tons of work and re-work it took to get the base of all the other views to be acceptable. I have really tried to find every post, video, and other resource on designing the mobile portrait view but nothing seems to help (probably my fault in not being the brightest bulb on the web design Christmas tree, although finding so much information on Webflow made before its UI change is confusing me, too). It just seems that everything I try makes things worse.
So, am I on the right track in using Quick Stack on the mobile portrait view, is it something I need to completely reconstruct from the base Desktop view, or am I just completely barking up the wrong tree?
^Yes, the menu in mobile portrait is currently a train wreck as well, but I think I know how to put all of that right. I just need to figure out how to get everything else to display correctly in that view first.
After further looking, I was able to find the height number that somehow was entered and causing grief, then figured out that I simply needed to start those sections over using Quick Stack. Everything is good now.
