Is there a way currently, to publish the link but only share it privately?
You can duplicate your site and give it a crazy subdomain name with lots of letters and numbers, and make sure your site is not being tracked by robots in site settings. In this case nobody will know your site url unless you share it.
We will be adding a password-protect feature for published sites soon.
