I’m in the process of building out an artwork storefront that offers many frames, sizes, and substrates (canvas, paper, etc) for a single product (artwork). Webflow’s native variant functionality has shown to be very limiting and difficult to manage. There are aspects that make it seem quite half-baked .e.g. not being able to simply reorder variants.
Ideally, I’d have variant options managed by various CMS collections. If we want to add a frame, I don’t have to manually add a frame to every single product as a variant - I’d be able to add it to the ‘Frames’ collection and it populate for every relevant product. The price of said frame
I know this is possible, I could just use some help to point me in the right direction on how to set this all up. I’m familiar with the tools, I’m just not sure of what to do first and the most efficient way to set this system up.
