Hello everyone,
I have a question, if anyone can answer me!
On my site, I’ve given a client (Federica Trezza, the one with the red arrow) access to enter new blog posts on his own. The problem is that he can’t do the English translations by himself: he doesn’t have the option to translate, as I do… is there a solution, or is it normal?
thank you very much!
It seems your client, Federica Trezza, has editor access on the Webflow site but is missing the ability to translate blog posts into English. This is likely because Webflow’s editor permissions vary based on roles and features enabled in the site plan.
Hi Roberta,
This is normal- the access setting you’re looking at there is for the legacy editor, which does not directly support Webflow localization or its machine translation.
They should use edit mode in the designer to do localization.
If the site is running in their workspace, they already have full designer access. If it’s running in your workspace, you could setup a “limited seat” to give them access.
By mid-2025, Webflow will have the new client seats rolled out, and all of your current legacy editors will be given designer edit-mode-only access to their site.
