Password-protected pages don't work under any circumstances (404 page, /wf-auth)

Hi,

I’ve been trying to build some internal Enterprise pages and to password protect them. With Webflow Cloud released, I’d wanted to get some basic SPAs under lock and key.

I cannot get any passworded page to work. I’ve set up my password page, I’ve created a folder “/ops”, which is password protected, with one test page underneath “App-1”.

When I access the “App-1” URL, I see the password screen. When entering any password, blank, wrong, correct – it goes straight to a 404 page with the following as the URL:

https://www.vancouverclub.ca/.wf_auth?path=/ops/app-1&page=/ops/app-1&pass=nineonefive

That’s the test password here: nineonefive.

The app URL is ‘https://www.vancouverclub.ca/ops/app-1’

I’m baffled.

Hi Tom,

If you’re an Enterprise client, you might use the Ent support team, they’re phenomenal.

If not, you mentioned using Cloud, is /ops/app-1 a mounted React app via cloud? If you’re trying to use Webflow’s built-in folder password-protection in combination with a mounted Cloud app, I’m uncertain if that would work.

If this is simply a password protected folder with no Cloud involvement, then it’s likely a systems issue and you’d want to open a support ticket.
