I am thinking this is, cause of the images might be too big. I could reduce the size of the image in photoshop. My question would be, is that the issue. And what is the ideal smallest size of images for websites, so they don’t get pixelated on bigger screens than my mac book screen?

I usually don’t go over any wider than 1600 px and for file size i keep things around a max of 100-250kb.
Is that what this warning icon means, that I went over. I resized it, and this is the smallest I was able to get it, I saved it in photoshop, with the save for web function. How can I make the file size smaller without changing the dimensions in photoshop? I have googled, but couldn’t find it.
