Overlay Not Showing On Mobile

I have a popup with a 50% transparent gray background color to make the text eligible to read and not clash against each other.

This overlay shows up on every breakpoint EXCEPT MOBILE. It seems as if this is a bug more than anything, but it obviously is affecting my client. OR this could be some Webflow setting I just do not know about.

A solution: I can easily go ahead and edit the image of the popup to make it less bright, but I want to understand if anyone else has had this issue.
