I’ve inherited a site created by someone else and I’m trying to trouble shoot some basic problems without recreating everything. One big problem currently plaguing the site are nav button links that don’t take the user to the top of the linked section. Instead, they drop the user an annoying amount below the start of the section. Especially frustrating, the nav links work perfectly in the designer’s preview mode.
Here’s an example of where the nav bar links take you. You can see it stops below the top of the section.
I suspect it has something to do with one of the containing boxes going over the limits of the section. For example:
