Multiple cursors appearing on one section of homepage

Hi Webflow!

I am pretty new to this platform and am editing a template. For whatever reason, along the way, the service section of my site started showing my primary cursor dot when I stop hovering over that area. All the cursors still work smoothly on the templated ‘Home Dark’ page (home-dark) which I have published for comparison.

I’ve tried my best to figure this out and am completely stumped. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi there!

The cursor behavior difference between your Home Dark page and service section is likely due to cursor settings in the element’s none state. Here’s how to check and adjust this:

  1. Select the element in your service section
  2. Open the Styles panel
  3. Navigate to the Effects section
  4. Check the cursor property in both the None and Hover states
  5. Adjust the cursor settings to match your Home Dark page’s behavior

For additional cursor customization options, check out A guide to custom cursors in Webflow.

Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.

Hey @Sadie_Jordan ,

Are you still facing this issue? Do you experience this on your live site as well or just in preview mode?

I tested the behavior in preview mode and the cursor seems to work as expected:

In case, you face this issue on live site as well, you could share the link of the site for us to troubleshoot.
