Moving blocks after hiding / deleting the first one

Hello!

I would like to understand how to best build a specific group of blocks.

I have attached here a simple drawing on what I would like to achieve.

I need to place two blocks per row and when deleting or hiding the first, all the other blocks will automatically move in order to cover the position of the first block.

The image attached can better explain what I need to do, let me know if that is possible.
