Mobile menu choped off on mobile devices

when the content of the dropdown menu is larger than the display of mobile device, menu is choped and can not be scrolled.

how to fix that? (the most problematic is mobile landscape view, and smaller mobile phones)

as you see in the attached screenshot from iPhone5 landscape, only the top 2 navlinks are visible, other links are not on screen and you can not scroll to get to them.

I managed to fix this with adding a fixed hight to the menu background.
