Metadata not updating properly after page change

I had to rename an existing webpage URL, title and description and also the old page link is automatically forwarded to this amended URL.

For some reason only the description has been updated and the title is still showing the old copy (text) when the page link is being shared in social media:

This is the metadata in Webflow which should be showing:

The URL and metadata was updated two days ago.

Can anyone help on this please?

Hey @Marnix_Garner, the metadata displays correctly on my end. You can try to clear cache or use incognito mode to preview again.

You need to inspect the URL in the social media validators I’ve listed below and check how the platforms are seeing your content.

• Facebook Sharing Debugger
• Linkedin Post Inspector
• Twitter Card Validator

If you’re seeing the latest versions in the validators I’d suggest that you click “Scrape Again” from the Facebook Sharing Debugger. (see screenshot below)

If that doesn’t work clear your cache from the server-side, DNS service etc. and retry.

I just tried pasting the link: UKMFA Employee Vaccine Mandates Resources again in Telegram and it’s still showing the old data as per earlier screenshot. I did try Facebook as you have and it’s correct there as you know.
