Mediavine: Installing ads.txt file

I’ve started running ads with Mediavine, but am unsure as to how to install the ads.txt file.
Here is the guide they say to use:

I have no idea what an FTP client or cPanel are.
Am I supposed to do this through Webflow or some external means?
(I bought the domain from GoDaddy, if that is relevant)

Any help would be much appreciated

(how to access public share link)

On Webflow you don’t have access to the root directory of your site. So FTP does not work in this case and neither does cPanel. If you want to use Mediavine with Webflow then I would contact them and tell them you want to use it with your site which is hosted with Webflow which offers a managed server without root access and if there are other alternatives for that.

Wish you the best!

Thank you for this
In the end, we found a simple solution of setting up a 301 redirect
So your response proved helpful in finding the best route

Awesome! Glad to hear that! If you wouldn’t mind sharing the steps you took to achieve your the goal here that way someone else who might be using them and asking the same question can get a little help too.

Thanks @williamsbrad1994! Cheers!

Yeah sure!
It was as simple as setting up a 301 redirect from:
/ads.txt —> https://dashboard.mediavine.com/sites/dream-big-travel-far-blog/ads.txt
