Legacy editor and CMS plane


My organization purchased the CMS plan two months ago. According to the page information the plan includes access for up to 3 legacy Editor users. However, we have not been able to grant editing access to additional team members beyond the main administrator.

Do you guys know how to enable these legacy Editor seats?

All CMS site plans include three legacy Editor seats by default. Here’s how to add teammates to work in the legacy Editor:

  1. Make sure your site is published first
  2. Go to Site settings > Site access > Editor access
  3. Click “Add to Editor”
  4. Enter your teammate’s email address
  5. Select either “Can edit” or “Can edit & publish” (if available with your plan)
  6. Click Invite

For “Can edit” permissions, you’ll need to copy and share the invite link from the modal window. For “Can edit & publish” permissions, your teammate will receive an email invitation directly.

For a visual reference-

Make sure you’re adding them from Site settings → Editor access, not Workspace settings , that’s a common mix-up. Had to do this on a client CMS site and the invites only showed once the site was published.
