I am struggling to come up with a good solution here.
On my most recent blog post I want to include a form fill for users to fill out in order to view a .pdf (gated content).
How would I add the form to just 1 blog post? Anytime I try to make edits, I am making the edits on the template itself and the form shows up on every previous blog post.
A good solution would be to go to your CMS collection editor for your Blog Posts, add a new toggle field that says “include form” or something similar, and then add your form on your CMS collection page for the Blog Posts. For the parent element of the form, go to the settings in the CSS/styling panel, go to conditional visibility, set it to only show if that CMS field is toggled on. So only one of your Blog Posts would have this toggled on. That way, the form will only show on the one Blog Post, but you could turn it on for others in the future if needed.
If this makes sense, awesome! if not, drop your read-only link, and I can help show you what I mean.
Good luck! And if you reply to this post, please @myonke me, so I get a notification and can come back to this thread!
@DougSirkoch Yep the conditional visibility was the final trick! Glad it all worked out for you. Can you please mark a response as the solution so the forum knows this is all figured out. Let me know if you come up with other questions.
I’m trying to do this same exact action @myonke and @DougSirkock
For some reason, I’m having trouble locating “include form” when I edit my CMS collection. I see options to add elements like phone, email, etc, but not a form. Any advice? Am I looking in the wrong place?
Would either of you be able to upload a screen shot or point me in the right direction?
