Launching new version of a site

I have a unique scenario and hoping to get some feedback.

My business partner and I have separate individual Webflow accounts. He set up a site for a client. He launched that site under his plan. He later made a copy of the site and transferred it to me to do updates. I added a number of pages and did some other work. We now want to launch this new version of the site.

Should we just cancel that previous version of the site and start a new plan for this new site? If the previous site had hosting paid annually will hosting payments be wasted?

You can reach out to the Webflow team for this kind of issue. They are always happy to help and transfer rest of funds from one hosting to the other.

Alternatively (if the site is not huge) you can transfer the copied site back to the original owner, then he can copy paste the new elements into the old project.
