Issues with templated custom cursor

I’m in the process of updating my site and have recently started having issues with the custom cursor that came built in to the template. i.e. it shows up on some pages and not others, isn’t always fully aligned.

I’ve cross-checked it with the template I’m using and all the settings are the same so I can’t see what it’s not responding the same way.

How would I go about addressing this? If it’s a complicated process, I’d rather just have a normal cursor and not a custom one. How would I go about just having the generic cursor across my site?

I suggest verifying the templates settings, checking for conflicting code, and considering switching to a generic cursor if resolving the issues becomes complicated.
