A similar question was asked last year but with the updates and changes I thought I would ask again. Is there a way I can incorporate ID.me into my E-commerce site to offer military discounts only to verified veterans, or would it be better to stick with using a service like memberstack?
I’ve never done it but memberstack enables integrations with id.me’s API. Have you reviewed ID.me Developers Documentation?
I’ve gone through some of it and I know I can use integrate it but I’m trying to figure out how/if I can integrate it directly using webflow’s e-commerce ability without having to go through a 3rd party. It’s not a big deal at the moment but I would really like to be able to enable it as a useful tool.
Webflow e-com doesn’t have any form of membership capability. Are you trying to prevent un-authorized people from using your e-com store?
If you’re using Webflow e-com + Memberstack ( for the ID-me integration ), you may be able to gate relevant shop pages so that only authenticated users can access them. Note the lack of integration here between MS and e-com, you won’t be able to do things natively like attach an ID-me identifier to your orders, you’d need to do some scripting to hidden order fields to achieve a deeper tracking integration like that.
